DueCircle is built by Progragon Technolabs, a software company founded in 2016 that has delivered 180+ projects across 10+ countries. We make careful tools for everyday problems — and we make them free.
Why we built it
Shared money is still a spreadsheet problem
Most households still manage shared money with chat messages, payment screenshots and mental arithmetic. Expense splitters handle a single transaction well, but forget that a household runs on recurring bills, budgets and a year of history. Budget apps handle the history, but assume one person owns the money.
DueCircle was built for the gap between them: a private place where a group records what was spent, sees what is owed, remembers what is due, and settles up without anyone reconstructing three months of a chat thread.
The name is the idea. A circle of people, and the dues that move between them — visible to everyone, owed by someone, and cleared properly at the end.
What we care about
- Every number is explainable. If you cannot open a balance and see the expenses behind it, the software has failed.
- Money maths is done properly. Amounts are stored as exact whole units of currency, never as decimals that drift. Every split method is covered by automated tests that prove the shares sum back exactly.
- Your group data is yours. We do not connect to banks, do not hold funds, and never use your financial data to target advertising.

10 years of building software for other people is also why DueCircle exists: we kept solving the same shared-money problem badly with spreadsheets, and eventually built the tool properly.

Our model
How a free product stays free
It is fair to ask what the catch is, so here is the honest answer.
DueCircle is funded by advertising on our public pages — the guides, calculators and marketing pages you are reading now. That is the whole model. There is no premium tier, no upsell, and no plan to introduce one.
Your group data plays no part in it. We do not use your expenses, balances or categories to select ads, we do not sell data to advertisers or brokers, and we do not build advertising profiles from what you record. Ads on this site are contextual to the page, not to you.
Being part of Progragon Technolabs is what makes that sustainable: DueCircle does not have to fund a company on its own.
